MBtech displays its design competence at the EuroMold 2008
The engineering and consulting service provider, MBtech, is attending the EuroMold trade fair for the second time. The leading international trade fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development development runs from the 3rd to the 6th of December 2008 in Frankfurt/Main. MBtech is presenting its complete design process chain at an exhibition stand in Hall 6 and will utilize a super sports car to demonstrate its design services for the automobile branch.
"From Design to Prototyping to Series Production" - This is the motto of the EuroMold which will take place in December 2008 for the 15th time. "This motto couldn't suit us better," stated Jürgen Müller, the Head of Body & Training (CAx) in the MBtech Group, "because in the automotive development field our competencies as a service provider cover precisely this range." At the centrally located exhibition stand in hall 6 at the EuroMold, approximately 60,000 expert visitors will have the opportunity to gain an insight into MBtech's complete design process chain: From the "Creation" and realization of the initial vehicle design drafts, to developing the technically feasible and series-capable Class A surfaces onward to the virtual or real construction of prototypes and show cars.
"We focus on consistency and an integrated approach," explained Müller. Interdisciplinary teams of designers and engineers actively work for our international customers - in both the full-vehicle design creation and also in individual vehicle and product-specific solutions." Visitors can view one example of MBtech's competencies at the company's exhibition stand: A super sports car from a new German automobile manufacturer. Among other aspects, the MBtech Group was involved in developing and designing the plastic parts as well as the sealing concept - both fundamentally important to the low weight of the super sports car.
MBtech proves its cutting-edge capabilities in design and development tools at its EuroMold stand by demonstrating the areas of application and functionality of the Integrated Parametric Solutions (IPS).
