Accredited practice of BDU e.V.

Effective immediately, MBtech Consulting GmbH (MBC), as an accredited practice of the German Association of Management Consultants (BDU e.V.), is now authorized to certify consultants and employees as CMC’s (Certified Management Consultant).

The CMC is the worldwide recognized seal of approval for professional consultants in the classical management consulting branch. 43 countries have already introduced the certification procedures of the ICMCI (International Council of Management Consulting Institutes) and undergo an international audit every three years. Worldwide approximately 10,000 of the estimated 500,000 management consultants bear the CMC title. MBC has been a member of the German Association for Management Consultants since November 2005, following the CMC certification of MBtech Consulting GmbH's managing director, Michael Müller (more information here).

The individual certification procedures for the personal title are based purely on professional and practical criteria and can be conferred on both partners and full-time company employees. The most important requirements are, among other things, extensive professional experience as a management consultant, positive project references, evidence of professional competence, proof of up-to-date higher qualification in at least one typical consulting field which employs an integrated approach, in addition to successfully passing an intensive qualification interview. Furthermore CMCs must constantly continue expanding their qualifications and are subject to regular re-certification.

All of the corporate consultants registered as a "CMC/BDU Management Consultant" in Germany are listed in a public register. A professional register for "CMC/BDU management consultants" is maintained on the BDU homepage (http://www.bdu.de/cmc.htm) and includes the name, date of birth, office address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address.
