MBtech Consulting successfully continues its cooperation with the LEAN Hochschulgruppe at the Karlsruhe University (TH)
After the promising Kick Off event in June last year, MBtech Consulting continued its seminar program for the LEAN Hochschulgruppe (HSG) students at Karlsruhe University (TH).
The Lean HSG is the first university study group in Germany which focuses on "lean production" issues, aiming to establish a bridge between the theory and practice of the lean philosophy before entering the job market.

During the two-day seminar consultants from MBtech Consulting introduced the participants to Lean Quality Management, Total-Productive Maintenance and Lean in administrative areas step by step. The practical simulations provided the students with insights into a consultant's working life and seamlessly linked the seminar to the Kick Off event.
The highly positive feedback from the participants and the instructors has encouraged both groups to continue the cooperation between MBtech Consulting and the LEAN Hochschulgruppe. As such further events have already been planned for 2008. MBtech Consulting intends to expand the cooperation established together with the LEAN Hochschulgruppe into a firmly established part of the extended range of course offerings at Karlsruhe University.
Dr. Ulrich Anstadt, Head of the "Lean Manufacturing" practice at MBtech Consulting regards the close connection between the company and the university study group as a developmental opportunity for everyone involved. "The cooperation offers both the students and our consulting company an excellent range of opportunities. Firstly, ambitious students can discover and apply Lean principles in a praxis-related fashion and, secondly, MBtech Consulting can present itself as a growing company. This enables the students to develop contacts with a potential employer at an early stage," explained Dr. Anstadt, summarizing the previous events.
Christopher Dröge, Chairman of the Lean HSG, also regards the results positively: "The cooperation with MBtech Consulting enables us to internalize the Lean principles both practically and theoretically and thus gain a head-start in terms of experience in a field whose integrated approach and resounding success offer outstanding career opportunities.“
