MBtech – Partner and pioneer for vehicle electronics

Category: electronics solutions, Press release

The MBtech Group plays a major role at the renowned Steinbeis Symposium - As a co-organizer and with competent expert lectures and interesting exhibits.

From safety functions to comfort functions onward to the powertrain: Electrical and electronic systems have become essential for modern vehicles. Whether purely electrically powered vehicles will one day dominate the automotive world is not only a technological question - The economic, political and infrastructure requirements must also be fulfilled. From April 27 - 29, 2010 top-class experts from industrial and scientific fields, including the alternative Nobel Prize winner Dr. Hermann Scheer, will discuss precisely this issue at the "Electronics for Automobiles" symposium jointly organised by MBtech, Steinbeis as well as the media partners ATZ, MTZ and ATZelektronik and held at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.

This year the three-day expert form is dedicated to the "Electrical and Electronics systems on the path towards electro-mobility". Dr. Dirk Walliser, the Head of MBtech's electronics solutions segment, is not only responsible for the contents of the symposium but is also holding the opening lecture on April 27, at 10:15 a.m. Dr. Nico Hartmann, the Head of Tools & Equipment at MBtech, is also among the numerous representatives from renowned automobile manufacturers and suppliers who are participating in the "Automotive electronics: technical status and outlook" lecture on the first day. At 3:45 p.m. he will present new opportunities for "Efficiently testing electrical/electronics (E/E) systems for alternative drive systems". The eagerly awaited public guest lecture from Dr. Hermann Scheer, MdB, at 7:30 p.m. is another highlight of the first day of the event...
