MBtech is expanding its PROVEtech tool suite with PROVEtech:RE, the compact and cost-effective test platform for verifying and validating control units along the entire chain, from development up to series production. PROVEtech:RE is designed for users in the control unit development and integration segment, for vehicle test teams, and for users in quality assurance, vehicle proving, and aftersales departments.

Quick and easy configuration – also accommodates integration of special hardware and/or software.

PROVEtech:RE is designed for PC systems running Microsoft Windows or INtime as operating systems, and can be configured as a real-time or non-real-time platform. Every component – interface, module, function – is dynamically executable and configurable (XML). PROVEtech:RE supports standard automotive interfaces and bus systems such as CAN, LIN, Multi IO, MOST, FlexRay, etc. Its range of features comprises an automatically configurable rest bus simulation, generation of signal waveforms, and behavioral models (optional). If the platform is connected to a test automation software program such as PROVEtech:TA, synchronized signals and messages are transmitted via Ethernet. Standalone operation without a test automation tool as the front end is a viable option for end-of-line tests, for example.
